It's finally here! We know it's taken awhile, but as they say, good things come to those who wait. We're thrilled to announce that the video presentation of the 6th annual Duran/Millan Affiliation Awards is complete and ready for your viewing! The longest presentation in DMAA history, it has its own page and had to be split into three parts.
We hope you enjoy the video and make sure to let us know what you think of this years awards!

6th annual Duran/Millan Affiliation Awards
"May the rest of our lives, be the best of our lives."
"Can't we just go to this? Do we have to steal stuff?"
"If you come with us, you're in this life for good."
"I'm done living in a world where I don't get to be who I am."
This year was one of records. The first film to win "the big three" i.e. Best Picture, Best Director and Best (Original or Adapted) Screenplay; the second and third openly gay directing nominees; the second female directing nominee; white, black, Italian, Kurdish, Pakistani, Polynesian, Mexican, Indian and Guatemalan acting nominees. In comparison, we have come leaps and bounds in these last five years Duran/Millan Reviews has been active.
I am so proud to facilitate a review site and awards presentation that prides itself on inclusitivity based on talent, not politics. As a minority in more ways than one, these changes that are happening in this crazy industry are not only exciting, but necessary. It gives me hope that one day all movie-goers will be able to see themselves on-screen and feel represented in a media that consumes so much of our everyday lives. We must continue to tell, to experience and support all stories.
Thank you to all our faithful readers, dedicated DMAA members and all who support DMR and root for our success. I can't believe how far we've come in these past five years, and I can't wait to see what reaches the stories and their tellers bring us to in the coming years.
Please enjoy the presentation of this year's awards and let us know your thoughts! And of course, along with me, you and movie-goers all over the world, let's dream.
